Let's focus on being aware of your surrounding when you are alone at night while out. When you walk to your car are you aware of what is happening around you? Do you notice what is around you? You should always be prepared with your keys out and carrying them between your thumb and pointer finger (something we will cover at a later time). You should be parked under or near a light. Scan the area to be sure there isn't anything suspicious going on or anyone that just doesn't "seem right". Don't continue to your car if you feel something is wrong. If you feel it is safe then continue to your car. Look through the windows to be sure no one is hiding out. Look underneath to be sure someone isn't just waiting there to attack. These measures may seem extreme but this is your own personal safety we are talking about. It's worth the few extra minutes of your time to keep yourself from becoming another statistic.
Welcome to our blog! We are Real World Prevention, also known as RWP. Our concept at RWP is to educate a person how to defend themselves against various types of opponents. We also prepare an individual for diverse movements from an attacker. You will have a different target every time but we are here to train you to be one step ahead. We begin with the five elements of defending ourselves in an attack.
Through this blog we’ll discuss things that we know and feel passionately about like education, prevention, awareness, our services, tips of the day, and much more! The mission for our blog is to share information that will help make everyone more productive and informed about protecting themselves. We hope to get your thoughts on what is important to you, what you like about our blog and services, and where we need to improve. And through our discussions, we hope to deliver to you services that meet your needs.
